Maelstrom protocol

The Maelstrom protocol offers exciting weekly challenge with different ranks in which everything can be risked, a mode of the most experienced Rainbow Six players was developed. Players have to move through a series of nine subzones with increasing difficulty, harder opponents, fast exhausting resources and increasingly narrow expectant time.

At each checkpoint, the troops have to decide if they retreat to their points too safe, or if they try to endure. By collecting points, they secure a ranking location in five classes, from the bronze — over the silver to the gold, platinum and even diamond class, with each class rewarding players with special headgear and React credits.

More challenges, events and more

Rainbow Six Extraction will provide a variety of challenges, undergraduate crisis events and orders. Crisis events are time-limiting, game-changing events with theme content. These can either add a new team job operator, or introduce a new dangerous Proteus opponent to defeat it.

In the first crisis event outbreak, colonies of further developed growths must be extinguished, while hordes at Archaean try to stop the players. These events are rewarded with exclusive RACE gadgets, new cosmetics and new background stories.

Orders are weekly modes with game modifications that the can test the players. For example, veteran mode does not include HUD, limited ammunition and active Friendly Fire. From the publication on the Maelstrom protocol and the weekly orders can overrun, the short time later the crisis events will be available.
