We already knew that Red Hook tactics RPG should start exclusively in the Epic Games Store in 2021. Who has read our Test to Darkest Dungeon , who knows that we had a lot of fun with the atmospheric tactic RPG from Red Hook Studios in 2016 (and also in the following years). The style design with the horror and dark fantasy elements simply fit the tentacle on the eye, the ticks and the ever-increasing stress levels provided that certain something and otherwise the balance act between frustration and motivation was masterful.
Therefore, it does not surprise that we were in 2019 on the announcement of the continuation insane. But what about the project? After all, the release should be made in the coming year. Thanks to an update of devs on the official website, the product page of the game in the Epic Games Store and a new teaser trailer (see below), we now actually know more!
In the coming year, the Early Access phase of Darkest Dungeon 2 expects us to run exclusively via the Epic Games Store. The first description of the game in the store could also fit the original:
